Andrea Stass is manager, media relations and public affairs for Union Gas, a Spectra Energy company.

Stass is the company spokesperson.  She has responsibility for issues management and the development of positions, communication programs and media relation’s strategy in support of the company’s business objectives.  Stass also coordinates crisis communications including the planning, development and execution of the company’s communication response for operational incidents and the delivery of media training for emergency responders.

Stass joined Union Gas in 1998, and has held positions of increasing responsibility in her 12 years with the company including finance, market research and public affairs.

Before joining Union Gas, Stass was a commercial account manager with the Toronto Dominion Bank, and a public health nurse with the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit.  

Stass obtained a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Windsor in 1988 and a master of business administration in from the University of Windsor in 1993. She is currently a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
